The team behind the platform
I'm a computer science educator and software builder who loves making complex ideas approachable.
I founded Software for Research to help researchers turn ambitious studies into impactful results. Our platform helps you engage participants dynamically, collect data more effectively, and adapt to the needs of every study.
At Northwestern University and the University of Chicago, I teach computer science courses designed to spark 'Aha!' moments in every session. My philosophy? Learning should be hands-on, relaxed, and fun.
I'm also an open-source contributor, conference speaker, and active in Chicago's tech community.
I'm a software developer with a background in science who somehow traded lab work for writing code and I haven't looked back.
After years in research and biotech, I now contribute to building tools that help teams solve real problems (and occasionally prevent a few headaches).
I care about making things simple, useful, and genuinely helpful for the people who use them.
I can often be found deep in a rabbit hole, researching the most calming color combinations, the easiest fonts to read, or how to make website navigation as intuitive as possible. That is, if I'm not trying out a new art form or redecorating my apartment for the fifth time this month.
I like designing websites so much, I actually built my own wedding website just for fun! I learned a lot, and I loved being able to customize and design every detail.
Researching and figuring out ways to make websites accessible and effective is my hobby as well as my job, even if computers are annoying sometimes.
Interested in working together? I'd love to hear about your research.
